| Description: | With the addition of the eBook and Apps processes to our workflow, as well as the design/editorial updates relative to the new adamsmedia.com website, we have a need for a summer intern to work in the following two areas: EDITORIAL -Comp research for content acquisition, proactively considering app content as well as print/eBook -Slush pile review for print/eBook/App consideration -DIP form maintenance (data-entry for eBook upload) -”First reads” on content -website, catalog, BCC copy DESIGN -adamsmedia.com website updates -Ad banners for eCommerce -design/layout of Sales materials -design/layout author support materials |
| Requirements: | Candidates must be in their junior or senior year of course study. Majors/concentrations in Journalism, Public Relations, or Communication are highly preferred. Experience with online projects is highly preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle several projects simultaneously.
